Diamond Glow addresses all your three primary skincare needs at once: exfoliation, extraction and infusion. The system can be customized to your skin type, and the serums can be tailored to your skin’s needs.
DiamondGlow Facial FAQ
What is DiamondGlow?
DiamondGlow is formerly known as Dermalinfusion. It is Allergan’s one-of-a-kind skin advanced skin-resurfacing treatment that combines 3 technologies: exfoliates, extracts, and infuses SkinMedica serums deep into the skin. The procedure is absolutely noninvasive and is customizable to treat multiple skin conditions for all skin types.
DiamondGlow is a treatment that utilizes microdermabrasion. Microdermabrasion uses a minimally abrasive instrument to gently sand your skin, removing the thicker, uneven outer layer. Exfoliating and extracting is the key to maintaining a healthy glowing complexion.
Is DiamondGlow the same as microdermabrasion?
Diamond Glow does everything that microdermabrasion does, except more. Microdermabrasion exfoliates and extracts (if needed); Diamond Glow exfoliates, extracts, and infuses the skin with medical grade serums.
How is DiamondGlow different from Hydrafacial?
DiamondGlow and Hydrafacial are two of the most popular medical facials available today. Both offer exfoliation but the methods differ. DiamondGlow uses a physical diamond-tipped exfoliator, while Hydrafacial uses glycolic and salicylic acid for chemical exfoliation. DiamondGlow is more of a corrective treatment that results in deep exfoliation, extraction and cleansing. Serums are then applied to fresh, new skin for greater effectiveness. Hydrafacial achieves similar goals with a gentle cosmetic approach.
Comparing with Hydrafacial, the medical-grade serums used in the Diamond Glow treatment reach deeper into the surface of your skin for enhanced results. The technology was scientifically researched to accomplish maximum absorption of skin-nourishing serums.
How often is a DiamondGlow treatment recommended.
We recommend 1-2 treatments per month to see continued improvement and glowing results. Your provider will determine your personalized treatment plan.
